The first weekend in May was a holiday in China so Kyle, myself and a few friends took the opportunity to travel south to Fujian province. A good friend lives in the scenic hot spot of Wuyishan (shan = mountain) so a weekend full of exploring and hiking was in order.
Wuyishan is famous for tea, especially the Chinese variety of Da Hong Pao. So we were able to do some tea picking and sorting.
We also hiked through the tea fields and took the nine bends bamboo rafting trip.
All in all a great weekend trip to get out into nature and away from the city.
