Bathroom Love

Weird title, huh? I can’t resist an interesting tile or pattern. Recently Kyle, myself and his friend Andrew (visiting from the States) stopped by Shanghai’s Museum of Modern Art. It was a good day for a walk through People’s Park and then a stop in the museum when the rain started to get too heavy. We took in Frameless Heads by Hyung Koo Kang as it poured outside.

The art was nice but one of my favorite things was the bathroom. I have a deep appreciate for nice bathrooms, especially in China as the facilities here are usually squatters with no soap or toilet paper (eewww…). The bathroom here looked beautiful from a few steps away but a closer look revealed a dirtier side. Look closer at the second picture and you’ll get my drift.
